Imagine you’re an activist organizing a protest, but can’t advertise the location online because your Internet Service Provider (ISP) blocks your messaging. If we allow Trump’s FCC to destroy Net Neutrality, this could be our reality. This is a critical issue to our communities as we build stronger social justice movements digitally. From #BlackLivesMatter, to #NoDAPL, to #NoBanNoWall, our movements have been strengthened by using an open web.

JOIN US on Tuesday 7/25 at 8PM EST (5PM PST) on Facebook Live for a conversation exploring how an open and neutral web impacts Muslims and people of color. How will losing a neutral web negatively impact us? How have we been able to utilize an open web to our advantage?

Activists made sure the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guaranteed a free and open internet for all in 2015. Now, Trump’s FCC Chairman, Ajit Pai, aims to destroy Net Neutrality.

Join the conversation and learn about why Net Neutrality matters and how you can preserve our right to speak freely online.
