The parade is to show support for making a more bikable, walkable and public transportation friendly LI. If you cannot make the Climate March on Washington, please consider this as an alternative. There is a walking route, too, for those who do not bike (or for those who do not feel comfortable biking 6.5 miles). There will be a bike-to-work festival afterwards.
